Whats goin dude… Soooo, you want to grow your legs?… In this article a few reasons on why your legs are not as big as you want will be discussed as well as how to get them bigger. Depending on what you’ve been doing and where your physique is currently, legs can take a while to grow. Your legs will never look exactly like Arnold is his prime BUT of course you can still put on muscle and have your own unique look.

First, we’ll start off with 2 reasons why your legs might not be as big as you want:

-Food consumption

-Lack of progressive overload

In order to grow your body you have to eat. With that being said it is important to keep your calories at a surplus and or “bulk”. From a macronutrient point of view there needs to be more carbs, fats, and proteins consumed.

-Deficit calories (weight loss)

-Surplus (weight gain)

In addition to keeping your calories at a surplus, more volume in your workouts is also a must, progressive overload. This means adding small increments of weights, sets, and reps over time. Try this workout below on your next leg day:

-Deadlift 4x10-15

-Leg extension 4x15-20

-Leg curl 3x 15-20

-Seated calf raises 4x20-30
